| lets see.. since my last post not much has happened. classes are over and i got my grades. i got an a in everything but theory(b-) and english(b+, dont ask me how that happened considering i made a A- on everything i did in that class). i think i did pretty good for my first semester. my gpa is a 3.668. all i really care about is keeping it above a 3.5 for when i apply for grad schools and such. um.. i pretty much just did stuff around the boone, played in the ice, made some new friends :) and.. slept! and packed for home/lond/'nooga. friday morning we left for the NCAA championship game in chatanooga..i'm gonna laught if i spelled that wrong. i've been spelling it "nooga" for so long, haha. anyways. it was fun, stressful. but fun. we won. yay. you can tell i care so much right? it really was cool though. and yes, thank you mr. richie williams for thanking the band in the paper. you're prolly the only football player that's ever done such a thing and i thank you for that. um.. i'm finally home? lol. unpacking is a pain. there's so much to do. i feel so unprepared for this trip its not even funny, but it should be fun! i woke up at 1 today. that's a total of 16 hours of sleep straight. didnt wake up at all. and my mom said i snored like WOAH.. which i usually dont do at all, or do i ? andrew? lol.. that should say how hard i was sleepin. then i woke up and was suprised with lunch by my dad. good stuff. then i took a bath for the first time in oh.. 3 months? it was great to be full submerged in water again.. i hate dorm showers... bleh. now i'm just lounging... lol. it sucks that this break is going to be so short tho.... i'm home until the 28th, then to london until the 4th, then back here until the 7th.. bleh.. angst(sp?) i think i've gotten dumber since high school.. anyways.. off to read other journals and catch up cuz it's been a while, lol | | |

| so, the football team won.. suprise suprise. so i'm stuck not going home for another 4 days. at least we get a free "vacation" in chatanooga? even tho i dont consider anything having to do w/ footbal a vacation.. but w/e. but yeah.. i think i'm homesick.. i just really want to go home and be in my bed. but no... stoopid football team had to go and win. oh well. and now it really sucks cuz it's like.. i go home.. get ready for london, leave.. come back for 3 days, go back to school. i'll be home for 14 days(i think) in all out of 4 weeks that i could have been. i talked to my mom today and realized how soon london was and literally spazzed... i feel so unprepared which is something i dont like to feel with international travel. it was so great w/ spirit cuz sue sent out newsletters all the time w/ info preparing you for EVERYTHING for the trip. i think i'm going to dig them out and look through some stuff when i get home just to get some ideas. i keep having this dream that i forget my passport.. which is weird because of 2 things: i never really have dreams, and i mean, how could i forget my freakin passport? of all things!? i hope we get stamps tho... i hate traveling international w/ a big group cuz they usually just scan your passport and you dont get a stamp... i want more damnit! lol. but yeah.. so... this weekend was good other than that. rachie came up for her birfday! good times, lol. ashe got to come up too, but had to leave early today for work :( :( but at least i got to see her :) i've decided i'm gonna handcuff myself to her over break... at least while i'm home.... but anyways.. i gotta go figure out what i'm singing for my voice class performance on tuesday, lol. :) 'nite hoes | | |
| so yesterday was one of the greatest days of my life. woke up early.. went to my exam. got in there and he was like "if you are happy with your grade, you may leave and not take the exam". i think my highest grade is in aural so.. i'm not ruining that, lol. so then like.. the whole class went to trivette and ate and we sat there until not only had the closed for breakfast, they had also opened for lunch. after that, me and hannah went to king street and went in basically every store. there are so many awesome places that i had never been in before. i must go again. i found what i'm going to get a few people for christmas.. but i doubt i get anyone anything now cuz i'm so broke. i hate spending money.. i spend a lot of it.. and i feel like such a burden to my parents everytime i swipe the plastic.. and now i'm kinda low on money again.. and every time i call my parents to ask for more money in my account, i just want to crawl in a little ball and cry. a job next semester i must get. actually, i found a few places yesterday that i want to get applications to.. i think i'm going monday (or possibly sunday) to get some. here's my decision: if the team wins, i'll go ahead and put them in b4 break, if they lose, i'll apply after break. that way there's something good coming out of them winning, lol. today was another great day. i got to sleep in. i had absolutely nothing to do.. and a lot at the same time. i woke up at 12:30 and did my laundry. then i spent about 2 hours just going around campus running errands, and i still prolly have 2 hours left to do, lol. then i practiced(i totally forgot to yesterday, not a good thing w/ juries comin up). well.. i guess i'm off to bed early since i have to wake up at 6:45 tomorrow cuz i have a 8AM reahearsal b4 the game for band....... this sucks. tomorrow should be fun tho. the bb's are comin up, rachel is stayin the nite cuz it's her birfday, lol. mr and mrs k are comin up, should be great to see them. and then of course, most importantly, ashe is comin up :) and she may spend the night! good times. wish me luck and hope the team loses! i mean... wins.. idk anymore. i wouldnt be upset either way. if we win, oh well. i get more time in boone and can get some things done post exams. if we lose, i get to go home early and practice my ass of and hopefully maybe apply for jobs there? i cant decide if i want a job up here that i can work while i'm not in classes and weekends, or a job at home so i can go home every weekend.. or maybe both????? ideas please :) | | |
